Federal Board of Revenue issued SROs 552, 589 and 590, wherein the board has issued exemptions of Sales Tax and Income Tax and custom duties on the import of following items for medical purposes only

1. Oxygen gas
2. Cylinders (for oxygen gas)
3. Cryogenic tanks (for oxygen gas) and
4. Oxygen Concentrators/Generators/ Manufacturing Plants

These exemptions are effective from May 24, 2021 and will remain applicable for one hundred and eighty days.
